Youth

Guiding the next generation.

Youth Guidance is our weekly mentorship program for middle and high school students in Wheaton and the Chicago suburbs.

Every Saturday

Youth Guidance Program

Every Saturday our students come together at Ahiska Turks Cultural Center for Qur’an and Islamic studies classes with their mentors.

Beyond the classroom, the group shares meals, picnics, sports and trips, including university visits that help our students plan for their future.

  • Qur’an and Islamic studies
  • One-to-one guidance from mentors
  • Good character and a strong sense of identity
  • Friendships that last

Youth activities

Our youth do more than study together. Throughout the year they meet for cookouts and picnics, sports, bowling, seasonal outings and university visits.

Our young people also help run these events themselves, from planning to cooking for the group. It gives them responsibility, confidence and a real sense of belonging.
